This is both a wonderful sanctuary and well hosted. The room was cosy, well appointed and spacious. The breakfast defeated me, luxurious menu and beautifully prepared. The hosts are friendly but allow you your space. Throughly recommended.

My wife and I recently had a lovely overnight stay here. We were initially greeted by Simon who is very pleasant and helpful, as is Angie. He showed us the the beautiful accomodation and we settled in. Bed was very comfortable and we were presented in the morning with a great selection for breakfast, which was very tasty. Would highly recommend and Grace the dog is a great big softy. Thanks for your wonderful hospitality.

Myself & my friend & our 9 yr old sons spent the night at this beautiful, quiet house. The bedrooms are very bright, cheerful, spacious & clean. Angie & Simon are excellent hosts, very friendly, nothing is too much trouble. They will tell you about the area & suggest places to visit. They also serve a delicious breakfast, with eggs from their own hens. The village is beautiful & fab for a little walk to the pub, which is only 10 mins away. I would highly recommend staying here & can’t wait to return.

Could not have been more helpful from the moment we arrived. Tried to book out taxis for us and arranged a meal in a local pub at short notice. Lovely clean and character room and such nice people. Breakfast in the orangey was delightful. If we’re ever in the area we will definitely be choosing Simon and Angela again.

Gorgeous house to stay in. The hosts Simon & Angela are extremely nice and welcoming. They will attend to your schedule and needs. The house is super clean, very nicely furnished. Unfortunately we were there for only one night so will be going back to spend more time. Strongly recommend this place.
